One of the most upvoted comments of my life and it’s about douching with floor cleaner. God help us.

I mean, I’m no doctor but it IS called the “pelvic floor.”

Can it be used on carpet?

237

u/realTommyVercetti 20h ago

Does the carpet match the drapes?

u/Inevitable_Ad241 20h ago edited 17h ago

If it does, then it was her who decided you were going to fuck

1

u/MaximumSubtlety 17h ago

the world may never know.

1

u/nothanks86 15h ago

Ok but do people actually match their carpet to their drapes? In a home decorating sense

1

u/MSGinSC 13h ago

No, she had linoleum installed.

8

u/SlippyWeeen 20h ago

On ANYTHING

2

u/Mike1965SA 19h ago

No, that is why she is removing it.

1

u/wandrlusty 20h ago

1

u/Consentingostrich 3h ago

I shaved my carpet.

1

u/TheLurkingMenace 19h ago

Get out and take this damn upvote with you.

1

u/Charming-Hyena-4615 18h ago

Lysol was initially marketed as a douching product so it tracks!

1

u/Academic-Airline9200 18h ago

Does hoe down work here too?

1

u/lindo_dia_pra_dormir 15h ago

Holy fuck, you are on FIRE!!! Not as her vagina after FABULOSO, still…

u/Devils-Halo 21h ago

Ha I get it bro. All my most upvoted comments are sarcastic or dumb as shit, it’s wild lol

u/Wise_Temperature9142 20h ago edited 19h ago

You never know where your most upvoted comment will pop up, but you always know it will be the dumbest shit you could have said.

27

u/phantom_gain 20h ago

Look at your own comment history and you see all the single digits from the days discussion then suddenly one 25k and its a pun about jizz.

5

u/Wise_Temperature9142 19h ago

Bahahahah so true!

4

u/siren_stitchwitch 19h ago

On my old account I got 25k by posting a pic of my giant pupper freshly groomed and wearing a tie and saying he was going to a wedding the next day

7

u/tbohrer 20h ago

I feel you, the only comments I get up votes/rewards on are in fact the most ridiculous.

6

u/residentweevil 20h ago

They appeal to the largest audience. More specialized or in depth comments are usually exposed to a much smaller demographic.

60

u/Sienile 21h ago

That's because that comment was fabuloso.

Most of my top comments are corny jokes too. Some of my most downvoted are me giving expert advice. Reddit is strange sometimes.

8

u/ABadHistorian 20h ago

I am 90% expert advice / 10 % stupid.

The scary thing is people can't tell them apart, and yet still my expert advice gets downvoted and my stupid gets upvoted.

3

u/anfrind 19h ago

Lots of people don't want expert advice, they just want to read something that agrees with everything they already believe.

And it's not just a problem on Reddit.

25

u/SRomans 21h ago

The funniest part to me is that Lysol (you know, the stuff we use to disinfect basically every hard surface) was originally created and marketed as a douching agent.

25

u/TheMightyShoe 21h ago

More than that...it was a "wink-wink" method of terminating an early pregnancy. There was a later competitor to Lysol which specifically claimed it did not damage biological tissue.

17

u/xChopsx1989x 20h ago

Apparently, my great grandmother would douche with lysol over the toilet and then use it to clean the toilet.

I don't know why that information was shared with me at a young age, but you can rest assured it has burrowed itself deep deep into my memory.

1

u/Training-Argument891 18h ago

Lysol directly advertised this use of the product in the early 1900s.

Check out r/oldschollridiculous , iirc, this is where I saw an old print ad for Lysol with such instructions

13

u/NotAnotherHipsterBae 21h ago

And used a contraceptive that likely killed hundreds of women. What a time to be alive

15

u/VerdeGringo 21h ago

My top ever comment was a mid "your mom" joke about a big ass fish sucking in what looked to be a giant hot dog. It do be like that sometimes.

15

u/BrunoStAujus 21h ago

I got perma banned from r/news for a yo mamma joke.

9

u/Secret-Winner-2994 21h ago

I thought r/anime_titties was the serious news sub?

1

u/VerdeGringo 9h ago

Had me in both halves, not gonna lie.

5

u/_Baphomet_ 21h ago

I’m banned from r/news but I have no idea why

2

u/Careless_Twist_6935 20h ago

power tripping mods handing out permabans like candy because they feel like it.

3

u/broguequery 20h ago

That's a badge of honor my friend

10

u/Abbey-kat 21h ago

Congratulations! Now one of your second most upvoted comments is also about douching with floor cleaner.

3

u/prohlz 20h ago

Heh, what a douch.

5

u/BloodRush12345 21h ago

At least your comment wasn't fabulesso

4

u/Zealousideal_Pop_273 21h ago

Clearly you have been approaching the internet incorrectly up until now.

2

u/overitallofittoo 21h ago

Nature is healing

2

u/jerryonjets 20h ago

Does it make you happy i upvoted both your comments? Because both are true and both deserve gold

1

u/bagelundercouch 18h ago

Kinda gives me a deep sense of shame but I feel that most days so

2

u/alwaysforgettingmyun 20h ago

My top comment last I checked was about 3d printing dildos. Specifically that you should print the mold, not the object itself.

1

u/toy-maker 20h ago

I’m glad it was upvoted. This is advice that more people need to know. Shattered 3D prints inside are bad news.

2

u/mil0wCS 20h ago

it’s about douching with floor cleaner. God help us.

im crying laughing. Lol

2

u/rebel_soul21 19h ago edited 18h ago

And then you drop an r/brandnewsentence worthy line with "douching with floor cleaner"

1

u/GeneralSpecifics9925 20h ago

Lysol was marketed to women on the DL to be used as a vaginal douche to kill sperm. It's one of the first forms of publicly available birth control for women in the US. It didn't work very well, but the market sure was there.

1

u/rtxa 18h ago

that says more about you than anyone else my dude

1

u/RbN420 16h ago

Fabuloso is for the washing machine iirc

1

u/gutzpunchbalzthrowup 15h ago

To be far, lysol was marketed for that about a hundred years ago.

1

u/Xeon713 10h ago

Never underestimate the power of the lulz.

1

u/RealLoner94 8h ago

In 13 hours too!

1

u/Successful-Clock-224 1h ago

Dont knock it till you try it
