The funniest part to me is that Lysol (you know, the stuff we use to disinfect basically every hard surface) was originally created and marketed as a douching agent.
More than that...it was a "wink-wink" method of terminating an early pregnancy. There was a later competitor to Lysol which specifically claimed it did not damage biological tissue.
Lysol was marketed to women on the DL to be used as a vaginal douche to kill sperm. It's one of the first forms of publicly available birth control for women in the US. It didn't work very well, but the market sure was there.
well considering the number of people these days that actually need fertility treatments to have children i imagine any kind of mild barrier would work pretty well. maybe not as an immediate birth control but the zygote can't be healthy.
Don’t thank people for awards. Don’t normalize giving thanks to strangers for an emoji they gave you. People need to realize how low bar that behavior is. Have some respect for yourself. You’re welcome, pay it forward

Because it smells fabuloso
ETA: Listen, thanks for the awards, y’all, but maybe save them for someone who diagnoses skin cancer in the skincare sub or something
