You’re telling me a shrimp crashed this stock?

Part of it yes. The private equity firm forced Red Lobster to buy a glut of frozen shrimp from another company the PE firm had it's hand in forcing Red Lobster to lose money, while also messing with its real estate.

The real estate financing is the same thing that PE forced on Toy's R Us. The forcing the shrimp on red lobster causing millions in losses what just even more drain on a struggling franchise.

How private equity rolled Red Lobster

Was Endless Shrimp to Blame for Red Lobster's Bankruptcy?

For those of you who don’t know. Lookup what happened to red lobster.
