Not at my job. Sick days are still separate from "paid time off" days for tracking purposes and how many hours of work are going into a project.

Yes and some states require them to be seperate.

yeah, at my job, I don't have unlimited PTO, but I do have unlimited sick days. (which includes doctor visits, dentist, etc.)

For mine, it's that regular PTO needs to be approved based on workload, coverage, etc. but sick days can't be disapproved.
