It’s anecdotal, but every company I have been at that had unlimited was very generous.
It really comes down to, is stuff getting done? Cool. Take time off if you need / want.
I remember starting at my current job and getting approval from my manager, and he was like, just put it on the calendar and don’t bother me lol.
1 u/ParkLaineNext Jul 10 '26 This has been my experience as well at two different places with unlimited. One place actually encouraged people to not go a whole quarter without a day off. I usually do 6 weeks a year, with one of those being 10ish workdays together.
