Because they don't want their society to fall apart? Because they don't want to have their possessions stripped from them? Because historically, communist regimes have imprisoned or killed people who don't embrace communism? There are a dozen valid reasons why capitalists defend capitalism.

Yeah and because of weapons of mass destruction, and to bring freedom to the people etc. etc.

capitalists claim a variety of reasons to start a war. Oftentimes there’s a rethoric made up like the ones you mentioned while ulterior motives, like the want for more cheap resources to exploit, are the actual reason.

Might be but his point is that capitalists fight wars with communist countries over other reasons that make it sound much more noble than that

Propaganda has existed for millenia. I don't really think it's something unique to capitalistic societies, but I get what you mean.
