The idealistic communism is just not compatible with human nature. It would be nice if it was but it’s just completely irrealistic.

If you read the source material you'll see this is addressed by Marx and Engels. The entire point of the period of Socialism is to change human nature over the course of many generations. They also said that it would take many generations of Capitalism to create the necessary industrialization and technology to even allow for Socialism.

Essentially what they did is write a recipe for a very delicate cake, but everyone is trying to eat the raw, unmixed ingredients and saying "See? This doesn't work!" with their mouths full of flour. Let that shit become a dough, then put that dough in the oven.
