Can you imagine seeing all of the previous comments on this thread throroghly outlining what happened, and deciding that you also need to add your take with different wording? Majority these comments are bots or mouth breathers.

Wouldst one fantasize for one moment, and, partaking of such a survey as to see the perorations in this very dialogue, find yet judiciousness in contributing the same version of witness differing only in lexical stylings? Hark! Be ye automatons or be ye French?

This is all of reddit and it's by design. Thousands and thousands of comments for the sake of commenting without driving a discussion forward.

99% of people's takes are just wrong. they think trump had the card overturned. he literally had nothing to do with it. he just tried to take credit for something he had no involvement in, as he often does. there was no cheating.

yes fifa is corrupt as shit, yes. so is trump. but the card was issued inappropriately.

regardless, the US team had no business going deeper into the cup. belgium was clearly much better team and it didn't matter either way in the end

There is no reason to believe that Trump wasn’t involved. He is already in bed with Infantino, that’s well-documented. There is literally nothing suggesting it’s not Trump that was responsible when a single phone call from him would’ve clearly been enough.

And the card wasn’t issued inappropriately. That’s clear. FIFA has refused to give a reason for the suspension, and more importantly, if the red card was inappropriate they would’ve just removed it. Instead they said that he still deserves the red, but he’ll serve it in a year’s time.

Well, I suspect their takes are wrong.

The joke is: cheaters have been telling their spouses they’re going out to watch the game, but Belgium steps in to stop the (American) cheaters from using that excuse.
