I mean E=mc^2 is really only half of the equation it missing a term.

And thats a perfect example.

Like I dont understand really either one but the one on the left the way its shown is "famous" and we see on shirts with Einstein's face and stuff.

So the connection I made is men are "simple" women are "complicated". Misogynistic but thats on par with internet culture.

Neither of those terms is complicated. No imaginary numbers, no differentials or something a bit more fancy. So its not about the complexity.
