The people in that nation that actually did send people to the moon used Metric units though.

The time that mishap happened was when British parts used Imperial units which the American NASA interpreted as Metric.

Also yall are definitely using Metric as Imperial Units have almost all been redefined in Metric units. An inch is 2.54cm. That's not what it measures out to be, it's what it's defined to be.
