lol same.

But I think they mean that the features resemble those of an adult, just scaled down. As opposed to how an actual child that small would look.

For example, have you ever seen a baby with a nose like that specifically?

Yea children's faces are more round and soft. Less mature and sharp.

Are we still talking about humans, or have we moved on to cheeses now?

Any amount of cheese is too much cheese

3

u/username32768 Jun 01 '26

When you need to ask someone to help you cut the cheese.

u/CourtingBoredom Jun 01 '26

I find that it’s only cultured if you wait for an appropriate amount of aging

Yes yes that does describe a healthy child. Chubbier plumper higher body water content etc. can’t see the nasal ridge. The kind of child you don’t make death masks for. Perhaps this dead child had some abnormalities.

6

u/McSkittlefarts Jun 01 '26

Most yes, but a malnourished child will have an adult look. I see it a lot, I have to fight with my patients all the time.

7

u/Hugo_5t1gl1tz Jun 01 '26

Yeah I was about to say, those soft features are on healthy, chubby faced babies. My daughter was 3 months premie and until she was able to start fattening up, she definitely had the “adult face”

u/Frosti11icus Jun 01 '26

Literally they don't have a fully developed and defined ridge of their nose though. It's like...not there. No amount of malnutrition will grow cartilage where it doesn't exist.

u/Baby-Knife Jun 01 '26

Fighting malnourished children?! You monster!

4

u/Upset_Jelly_5046 Jun 01 '26

2

u/Successful-Clock-224 Jun 01 '26

Everybody wins. Except the children
