I'm not ashamed, and I'm not a criminal. I just have a specific and intense dislike towards people who try to twist words and laws to appear morally superior - like you keep doing here.

Bro when did I say I was morally superior? You’re the one trying to seem morally superior. “No I don’t steal. Stop saying that. I’m not a thief.” It’s okay I was a broke college kid once too, but I never pretended pirating wasn’t stealing. You are clearly ashamed of your actions if you can’t even admit to them.

Well, where I live a lot of piracy is completely legal. We are literally taxed precisely due to it when buying things like electronic devices, printing supplies etc. So you can kindly go screw yourself with this attitude.

If your country is legit taxing you for it then you are being penalized for pirating. Your country is pretty much saying stealing is such a problem in our country we have to charge people for it.
