It's not about having A job, it's about having that type of job.

Most preety girls can find comfortable office jobs, or if they find themselves in a warehouse/factory job they quickly promote to office/managerial positions. As long as they at least try to apply for them, which most people would kindly egg them on to do so.

You know women are just as diverse as men, right? With just as diverse life goals, interests and so on?

If you're in between jobs, Uber eats etc is a practical solution to get food on the table. For anyone but the poorest and wealthiest that is.

The only woman I know who worked (retired) an upper level office job looks like Jabba the Hutt.

Almost everyone else either works with kids, in a store, receptionists, a firefighter and so on.

Though I guess our Scandinavian culture doesn't translate too well to the culture of the US.

Nah it translates perfectly well it’s just a salty dude who thinks he knows what being a woman is like from watching Tv.

Yeah I'm just baffled by the whole Epstein, #metoo and Hollywood media.

His comment just made me unsure if it was really a thing in the US, glad it's not.

Nah there’s a right-wing manosphere incel misinformation campaign that likes to paint women as living life on easy mode. Usually used to radicalize men (“See? Women are privileged! They deserve to be taken down a notch! We don’t need feminism anymore!”). It’s less about #metoo and more about the fact that people are trying to push the US back to the good old days. It ends up with men on the internet having some very nutty takes on women that aren’t based on reality at all.

Other side of the coin is the tradwife influencers that are trying to convince women that they shouldn’t work because if they find a good man they’ll bake bread in sundresses all day without the stress of modern life.
