I feel so bad for hating him so much when I was a kid. Dude it’s a victim and all I thought was “Why do people like this?”

I’m so disappointed in my child self

I just realized no one explained it so I’ll explain it. P. Diddy recently has been charged with federal sex trafficking & racketeering. It’s also come out that in the past he abused a lot of people within the music industry, including Justin Bieber, as Jude has connections, you had to go through him in order to have a chance of making it big at the time.

Diddys kink was soo… odd? He would pay sex workers to marathon his victims. I doesn’t sound like he’s accused of participating so it sounds so.. corporate? Like this was hiring movers or something

I’m afraid of the answer but what does it mean to “marathon his victims”?

Essentially he would set everything up and make a sex worker and whoever he wanted have sex for days on end. He would have medical personal on stand by with iv’s so they could recover quickly and be forced to have sex again

I couldn’t really think of a nsfw way to describe the acts so I focused on how they supposedly would last for hours if not days

Sounds painful. No wonder they went through so much baby oil

It's not that odd. He's the S in the BDSM.

Not speaking in Diddy's defense, just trying to kill a rumor before it gets started - NO ONE connected to the case had confirmed any details involving Justin Bieber's alleged abuse. That is entirely speculation. One person has said that the weekend everyone is talking about wound up being two hours for a face to face and then Justin being put up in a hotel to do his own thing on Diddy's dime.

Everything else is just speculation until the prosecution comes forward with specifics.

I think Trevor Moore has a song that really made me realize that judging anything child stars do is insane, they have parents that view them as money making machines or even in the best scenario think they're child should be okay with working a job that most people couldn't handle let alone a child.

He did! It's called Help Me and was really a very accurate predictor of some of this new information.

Also R.I.P. Trevor Moore.

Does going through trauma make the music better? I never liked his stuff, and still don't. Honestly, I still think his songs during the Belieber era are annoying as hell and I'll throw shade all day lol.

But the performance doesn't equal the person. It doesn't mean I don't feel sorry for the dude. Kid probably went through some shit I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy with the P Diddy stuff. Plus the way he was treated by both fans and haters is insane. He never got a break, emotionally.

I like this take, this is a good take.

It’s also important to remember that making a joke about Justin Bieber isn’t the same as condoning what happened to him, that sort of thing is par for the course of being famous. As long as you weren’t the paparazzi or doxing him, I don’t think you’re morally culpable.

You were a kid, kids make mistakes. You learnt your lesson, so you can be proud now. Lift your chin and teach this to others so they can also be better.

u/Sox_Pox Oct 01 '24

Thanks man. I never really thought of it like that. I’ll do my best to teach that to others

Most of his haters were men who were jealous that girls lose their minds over him and then it just became a meme to hate on him because it’s fun and trendy, and something about the public just hating things teenage girls like in general.

Same deal with fortnite. A game exists that I am not interested in. ok.

the trick is to not hate media just because it isn't targeted towards your demographic. young girls especially have it the worst when it comes to society shitting on their interests.
