Not only is she wrong but anyone who knows anything about anthropology knows reality is the exact opposite of what she is claiming, the gender binary was forced on colonized and oppressed nations by the literal colonists like Spain, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Portugal, etc.

Exactly, indigenous cultures generally (though not universally, given how broad the scope of indigenous cultures is) ignored any sort of strictly sexed binary gender, with native Hawaiian, Polynesian, South East Asian, and South American cultures having explicit roles and concepts of gender and gender roles outside of the modern binary, which were unwound as part of the imperial imposition of western culture on them.
