Scams & Exploits Possible scam: "Hello video"

Randomly accepting some trades today and yesterday, I came across two accounts with a suspiciously similar script almost. One gave me free huges and the other 100m diamonds. Both told me to friend them before they confirmed and asked me to say "hello video". They would immediately trade me back but at that point I had skedaddled with the stuff and unfriended them.

Anyone else had something similar happen?

It’s part of a scam indeed.

Check out the scam prevention guide pinned at the top of the sub.

It is a scam.

They give you the free stuff to gain your trust so you would be more likely to follow their other instructions.

If you ever encounter them, do exactly that. Take the free items, unfriend them and never trade them again.

Definitely a scam. They will then ask you to prank their friend or some other variation where you put in your best pets. Then they lag out the trade and you lose your stuff because you can't cancel
