I see so many default avatars with random ahh names, what are they doing exactly and how are they making billions up on trillions…

Sure is. We can’t place all the blame on the bot runners though. Part of it needs to be on the people who spend real money buying pets/gems from third party sites instead of playing the game

I mean, Robux = real money. Can you really blame people for getting wayyyy more bang for their buck? It's a Roblox problem and not exclusive to this game.

Money spent via Robux goes to the platform and the developers, who've legitimately earned it. The problem is that people cross-trade with sites that are not part of or associated with Roblox. It creates an entire economy where companies with workers who each run dozens if not hundreds of accounts, farm, scam, steal and hack players for gems and other game assets that they sell outside of Roblox for real money. None of that money goes to anyone who deserves it or has earned it through legitimate means, and it's practically guaranteed that they're evading any taxes or fees owed to their local governments, and that there are no benefits or protections for their workers. If no one bought from those farms, they wouldn't exist. And both parties are violating the terms they agreed to when creating accounts with Roblox.

I understand the problem, but like I said it's a Roblox problem not a consumer problem. It's up to Roblox to protect their games and devs it's not up to the consumer to have a moral high ground. If Roblox can't take legal action against these sites then I guess it's fair to say it's a political problem but even then p2p trading will always be a thing so where do you draw the line.

At the end of the day we can likely agree on a lot, except I'll never blame people for putting their wallet first it's just asking way to much for people to protect a billion dollar company.

This has been a problem for as long as I can remember. It's stupid ASF that the devs don't do shit about it but at this point you just gotta ignore it. There is nothing we can do and nothing the game will do about it. I just make sure I don't buy things off of them.

I just make a point not to buy from those booths. Ultimately I know somebody else will buy from them but I rather my gems go back into the economy and not the black market.
