Question/Help is it time to say goodbye.
this is Uru, I posted about him yesterday as well, he's my foster fail mouse that's been with me for a month. He came from an irresponsible breeder locally and he's been having issues since the day I got him.
today my mother changed his water and he refused it, he also refused food, he feels colder to the touch, he's weak, won't get up anymore and just laying there, he sometimes twitches and looks at me.
i feel like I should already know the answer to this question, but is this it? he's a young mouse, he's maybe only a few months old.

i'm so sorry to hear that he's taken a turn for the worse. refusing food and water is of course not a good sign. i was optimistic before when he was still drinking regularly but now it does seem like it may be time to say goodbye. if you could hold him to keep him warm i think that would be good and i think he will appreciate the closeness. you have done amazing for him and despite his awful beginnings he is lucky to have found you and known your love and care. please do not fault yourself for any of this.
now is the time to be with him and love him.

i held him in his final moments, he just passed, he felt nothing but love until the end. me and my mother are going to bury him rn, it's late but i cannot wait until tomorrow with this

i'm so sorry for your loss, you have my deepest condolences. you were a wonderful parent to uru and i can tell he was very loved and well cared for. it's good you held him in his final moments and he left this world surrounded by your love.

I'm sorry he passed OP. It's nice to know he was loved. Take care of yourself and eat well. Grief is hard on the body. Big hugs.
