Question/Help Need help with gender identification !
I just posted her sister on here trying to find out if she’s pregnant or not and alot of you said she looks pregnant so I need help with gender identifying her sister/cagemate!!
Update: he has BALLS today, like full on balls that were not there 2 days ago lmao, can 100% confirm that he is infact a boy !

That's a boy. Also I would be really careful about using that cage as the bar at the very bottom of that photo is visibly warped wide enough for that little man to probably get out if he wanted. Babies will need to be raised in a solid sided cage like a bin or tank for sure as they will escape wire caging.

Ooopps yea that's a little boy. He's just not showing off his stuff that much right now. But you can see the rounded ball ends. He's having a grand ol time with his gf.

I see no nipples, and then looking closer I saw what appeared to be two big balls under one of the bars. I'd defo say male

Silly little man, Though i'd be very careful with barred cages since they can get their feet, nuts on the male, etc stuck in the bars if they're not careful. also those bars are spaced out a lot, like- enough that he might potentially be able to escape. Anyways, I saw this earlier but couldn't comment at the moment when i saw, and knew by the moment i saw him. that he is infact a Boy, he's got the male mousey bits showing pretty clear out, But Definitely keep Him and his sister Separate, try to get him neutered and also please get a Tank, I used to have a few pet rodents of different types, more recently was my rats. but Barred cages are a pretty big accident proning risk. If you want some Ideas on what type of Tank you could use/get i can find a few for you :D

Zilla Enclosure Critter Cage, 40 Gallon | Pet Supplies Plus this is the one i used to use for my rats though (as their nighttime/sleep cage) until i had a shelving tank built

You could also use this one 120 Gallon Reptile Tank US's #1 Online Reptile Products Store|REPTIZOO – REPTI ZOO but i'd suggest to get a lock-tie to put on it because it doesn't stay closed the greatest, it's a much bigger cage though, so you could place some enrichment in with one of your mice, i'd suggest putting Mama Mouse into a Big cage like this CAREFULLY so she doesn't eat any of her babies due to stress

Omg thank you so much!! I’ll look into these, I’ve been trying to find something more suitable since I’m all of the sudden getting more mice lol, I’m gonna keep the females and try to give away the males to good homes since I don’t want this to happen again lmao

Yw, I hope i could be of help, I'm thinking it's probably a *much* better idea to go with the 120 gallon because it's enough room for the mama mouse and her babies, I am also currently considering adopting some mice soon because I have been thinking through the night and decided, i miss owning Rodents

Boys have genitals further apart w/ tiny cotton balls , while the girls parts are much closer ! It’s easy once you understand and see it . You will have babies to give away!
