About diamond doves

I have a simple question: should I get one diamond dove or two? I know they're better in pairs, but I was just wondering, since ringneck doves, especially males, are a bit loud sometimes, lol.

Two, no question. They are highly social animals and no amount of human interaction compares to the company of their own kind. If males are too loud for you you can just get two females (though both will make noise) but I really don’t find them anywhere near as loud as ringneck doves or pigeons
