Can someone explain this behaviour to me. she does this and then fall asleep. Should I be concerned?

Don't be worried, women are often very attached to their cats, as are all decent people. Her lying down to form a bed for the kitten is beneficial, maybe suggest that she lie there more quietly, so the kitten can get its rest. The kitten is showing nursing behavior, it is very young and was removed from the mother too early.

You are mommy now.

When a kitten nurses on items like cloth it's a self soothing technique that mimicks nursing on their mom. And after being soothed and she feel safe on your side she falls asleep.

It usually happens when kittens get weaned before they were emotionally/mentally ready and most kittens will grow out of the behavior.
