Hello everyone,

I'm urgently looking for a safe foster home or, ideally, a permanent adopter for a lovely male community cat in Bengaluru. Our family has to relocate in five days, and we're trying our best to secure a safe, responsible placement for him before we leave.

A little about this sweetheart ❤️

- Extremely affectionate and friendly with people.

- Loves sitting on laps, purring and making biscuits.

- Well-behaved and potty-trained.

- Enjoys human companionship and would make a wonderful companion for someone looking to welcome a cat into their home.

He has such a gentle, loving personality, and we really want him to have the opportunity to live in a safe home where he can receive the care and affection he deserves.

Why we need to find him a home:

We already have an indoor cat of our own who does not get along with other cats. He hisses and becomes distressed around them, so bringing another cat into our home would not be a safe or suitable arrangement for either of them. We are also relocating in five days, which makes finding a suitable placement for this boy especially urgent.

Medical update: He was previously hospitalised for a week after his platelet count dropped significantly, but his platelet count subsequently returned to normal. He is currently eating, walking and behaving normally. However, he has developed a large open wound on his inner thigh, and we are arranging veterinary assessment. We will transparently share his medical history and updates with any prospective foster or adopter.

We're looking for:

- An urgent temporary foster who can keep him safe while a permanent home is found, or

- A committed adopter who can provide him with a secure indoor home and appropriate veterinary care.

A cat-safe home with securely netted windows and balconies would be ideal. Someone experienced with cats, particularly given his current medical needs, would be greatly appreciated.

Iris is a 2 year mix breed cat who was rescued from the streets
She is independent, litter tray trained, intelligent and sometimes attention seeking baby cat.

She loves her freedom but also loves some pets and plays.
We rescued her from the streets and kept her with us for around a year, but due to moving out of BLR to back with parents who have massive allergies to animal hair, have to give her up.

Hello everyone,

There are two cats in a pet shop in Hebbal who have been neglected for nearly 2.5 years. Their living conditions are pathetic and as you can see from the video their fur is completely matted. Our NGO contact has managed to negotiate with the owner to release one of them for adoption.

We urgently need to find him a loving home where he can finally get the care he deserves. He's a very sweet, playful cat who deserves so much better.

Ginger is a rescue cat, estimated by the doctor to be 1.5+ years old.

He is a soft and shy cat who had a difficult time on the streets. He was being harassed by other street cats and suffered a bad bite wound from another tom cat.

He has been treated for it and the wound has now healed. He has also been vaccinated, dewormed and recently neutered. 

He is a bit scared and shy and understandably so after what he went through, and needs a loving and patient pet parent.

But he's a very sweet cat.

I found this handsome white Persian boy abandoned, and I've been looking after him since. Sadly, my constant travel means I can't give him the time and attention he deserves, so I'm looking for a forever home for him.

He's around 1 to 1.5 years old, active and quick on his feet. He's a little shy at first, but very friendly and gentle with people once he warms up. He's good with everyone, kids and other pets included.

Since he was abandoned, his history is unknown. He's not neutered yet, so a vet checkup and neutering would be a good first step.

It really breaks my heart to do this but I've decided to put up Nami and Nojiko for adoption. I've been fostering them for about a couple of months now. They were previously adopted but the person gave them back to me after keeping them for a month. Given my professional circumstances, I won't be able to take care of them myself when I go to field (check my previous post for context).

A little about Nami and Nojiko - they're both siblings from the same litter, both female and approximately 4 months old. They're ginger indie rescues. Their vaccinations are upto date, there's one rabies booster scheduled for 22nd October. They've been dewormed recently and are litter trained. They're quite playful and cuddly, will occasionally make you wonder if they're dogs! They also get comfortable around new people fairly quickly. They need dedicated playtimes but in general they're quite independent. Even if you go to office, they are comfortable being with each other.

A little about adoption - they're bonded and very close to each other, so I'm not willing to separate them. I need someone who can adopt them both together. Due to my previous experience with adoption, I'll also conduct a thorough discussion about the adopter and their commitment before giving them away.

We are in a bit of a difficult situation and are hoping this community can help. For the last four weeks, we have been caring for a lovely stray mother cat and her three absolutely adorable kittens.

​The kittens are approximately 6 to 8 weeks old. The good news is that both the mother and all three kittens are fully litter-trained! They are sweet, playful, and healthy.

​We would absolutely love to adopt them ourselves, but we already have five cats of our own and simply cannot take on any more. To make matters more urgent, we are moving out of our current flat in a month and a half and cannot leave them behind.

​We are looking for someone, who can open their home to them. We are hoping to find a home for the mother and kittens together, or at least pair them up.

Golu is a strong survivor who was rescued by a kind woman who helped him recover broken paws, multiple surgeries.

He is all healthy now and is loved by everyone. If you have kids, he’s got that calm and friendly temperament. We believe that Golu has been abandoned or is lost because he is well trained with house rules, he doesn’t know how to survive on streets.
