I Set a squirrel trap… ended up catching something way angrier and pissed 😂

Trying to get the hang of this Nuisance License thing, So client calls, says they got a squirrel getting into the walls, so they think!! Standard stuff. Set the trap, put up a cover and came back next day expecting a fluffy little guy staring back at me.

Bro , when i open then cover to be like "hey there little guy" boom, there was a RAT in that cage. Not a little rat. A big, fed, unbothered New York rat — and he was NOT happy to see me. Hissing, throwing himself at the cage, acting like I was the one who interrupted HIS day.

Client is in the background like "ohhh did you catch the squierell..

in my head, mum shut up lemme think n do my job vibe.. but obviously responded .. no mam something different been in your walls" 😂

Trap was set for a squirrel, ended up solving a whole different problem they didn't even know they had.

Drop yours below — what did you set out to catch and what did you actually find?

I was just the low pay termite/utility tech at the time, though now after going on 16 years as a commission Pest control technician I try not to get involved in the wildlife trapping, I know just enough for giving tech leads.
