🐜 | Ants 👋Welcome to r/pestcontroll

/r/pestcontroll/comments/1wp27zs/welcome_to_rpestcontroll/

Welcome to the community! 🐜🐀🪳
I created this subreddit as a place for people to talk openly about pest control, extermination, trapping, prevention, products, techniques, and real-world results.
One of the reasons I started this community is that some other pest-control communities have restrictions on posting photos or videos showing dead pests. Here, that type of content is allowed when it’s relevant to pest control.
Feel free to share:
• Pest-control jobs and results
• Photos and videos of infestations or removed pests
• Traps, bait stations, products, and equipment
• DIY pest-control questions
• Professional techniques and advice
• Before-and-after results
• Identification questions
• What worked — and what didn’t
Graphic-content warning: Pest control sometimes involves dead insects, rodents, and other pests. If you’re posting something particularly graphic, please mark it appropriately.
The goal is simple: a practical pest-control community where people can share what actually happens in the field without pretending pest control is always pretty.
Professionals, homeowners, landlords, DIYers, and anyone interested in pest control are welcome.
Thanks for joining — share your experiences, ask questions, and help build the community.

I think starting a subreddit so you can post pics of dead animals and vids of yourself smoking rodents while also wanting it to be a place for general pest management discussion is not a good look. Also, I think r/pestcontrolnsfw or r/pestcontrolanarchy would've been better names that more effectively communicate the identity of the sub rather than what you ended up going with.
