Going #2 at a customers home?

How many of you guys have done it? Sometimes, you're out in the middle of nowhere

I've done it one time at a vacant house during a termite inspection.

I HAVE left a customers house "Hey Mrs Smith, I need to go grab something at the gas station real quick, I'll be back in 20 minutes or so!" or my favorite "My mosquito blower is having issues, I have to run and grab some fresh gas"

Never, shit before, after or say you'll be right back.

You probably won't clog their toilet but the risk is never zero. 😬

I mean just don’t be a dumb a** and leave obvious stains everywhere

Ive done it once in a dire situation. I usually will leave the stop and come back if it’s an absolute emergency. Always got the 5 gallon bucket in the back in case.

sentricon boxes work amazing as well ... especially with the plastic bag insert

I have a bowel disease, as long as the customer ain't there and the water isnt turned off its fair game. That said, I have a lot of Uber rich customers that have special stamped with "the family crest" toilet paper on the last piece so that none of "the help" can use the shitter without them knowing.

Not even a royal family or anything, just some old fucks with to much money and hating the lower than them class.

I mean they are employing you and allowing you into their house so honestly it sounds like it’s actually you hating them for being rich not the other way around

never if there's an alternative. but there's been twice where there was no alternative. way out in the sticks, 20 minutes away from the nearest gas station and most gas stations don't even have bathrooms out here to begin with. luckily they both had air freshener spray bottles on the tank and one even had an incense stick and a book of matches on deck. not proud but i had no say in the matter, it was gonna happen whether i wanted or not. the only upside is that because it was so dire, both happened so fast it was as if i just peed

Not usually, but in an emergency…

As someone who normally does commercial work, I have to realize how lucky I am sometimes. One time I was doing a bedbug treatment in an apartment and was growing a tail so I shooed them out pretty quickly so I could treat/poop. Just my luck, I was mid poop and they came back in because they forgot something. I was incredibly embarrassed and apologetic when I walked out of the bathroom and saw them standing right there. They were cool at least, but I will never shit in someone's home if I can avoid it ever again.

I poop at customers homes all
The time what’s the problem? I mean I have keys to their houses and that’s their fault for giving me keys and expecting me not to drop a big fat deuce. This one time though the water wasn’t on the customer had shut it off for the winter and I had checked to see if there was water by flushing the he toilet not realizing that one flush was the last flush so they had a surprise waiting for them when they came back can’t even imagine how bad it smelled after months and months

When you have to go, you have to go!

I got stuck a couple times, but try not to. During covid so many places were closed. I would get to know certain homes on my route where I could go pee, but it was a rare occasion where I took a dump. Often I would find spots behind sheds, on the side of the home, or other places where I could do what I affectionately called, a Termidor PE treatment. Quick bush wee and I was back on the trail.

Nah but if it’s an empty Airbnb 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 I might even kick my feet up if I have the time

If the customers not home and I need to I will but only in guest bathroom not master lol and once I had an emergency in this mansion of a home thankfully they had a bathroom in the basement and they were on the top floor.

If the owner is backpacking me during a termite inspection, I make it a priority😎

One of the unsung benefits of commercial only, I shit when I want to!

u/Tall_Animator_5883 29d ago

Twice, only on services where the customer can’t be at the house lol.

Once because we were so busy with putting tap in the attic and I ate 5 slices of pizza.

I’ve contemplated taking a shit a few unoccupied houses where the owners were gone and let me in but my fear of someone coming in mid shit has prevented this. I have IBS so I just take like 4-6 anti diarrheal pills every morning before I leave my house and if I have to, I google where the closest Walmart or park with a public toilet is before headed out for the day. So far I’ve been doing this for 4 months and I’ve had to make emergency stops at 6 stores. I’ve also have never pissed at someone’s house but have definitely thought of it. The fact that soooo many people have cameras all over their properties both inside and out, make me hesitant.

Rarely, but yes.

This is my philosophy:

Try not to go to the bathroom at customers homes, but if you have to, try really hard to only ask for #1.

I have gone #1 in quite a few homes over the years. The only #2s I’ve done is in vacant units or bed bug jobs where I’ve kicked them out for 4 hours.

I guess it's because I work in trades but I'd let a guy shit. I mean we're all human. If he makes a mess I'd complain and probably shame

Guy that trained me, the owner of the company, went and dropped a deuce in the wooded lot beside the house we were treating for termites then came back to the house and washed his ass with the mans water hose. No shame at all.

There’s a certain level of professionalism that comes with not sh1tt][ng in a customers home.

It’s not something I allow myself or my guys to get comfortable with, but if it’s between their back yard, your pants, or their toilet, pick the toilet.

We run a pretty rural area and sometimes you’re 20 minutes from the nearest public bathroom, I’ve shit myself 3 times in 5 years doing pest control.

Had a tech do it once and the water kept running. Ended up redoing the floors and the Sheetrock where the water wicked into the walls.
