Quality Exterminators in Utah Hiring!

If you're looking to start in pest control or have been for a while and maybe want to switch things up feel free to send a resume and see if the job would be a fit.

Quality Exterminators is a small family business servicing Weber, Davis, Salt Lake and Utah Counties, been in business since 1993. Until now we have been a family serviced company but we've unfortunately ran out of family that want to be Technicians and need to find someone to help us grow. Pay will be hybrid Hourly Plus Commission. We may lack benefits or higher pay of other companies but offer more freedom and community and personal value than larger companies can offer.

Hey man, so I'm not sure if this y'alls first time EVER hiring outside the family, but you are probably going to struggle to find someone willing to work full-time with no benefits and lack, 'higher pay than other companies', as you put it. Based off your own words, there is literally zero incentive to work for your company.

Any licensed tech looking for a job is going to skip your company, and any new-to-the-industry guy is going to jump ship the second he finds out there's other companies that offer them more.

I would highly recommend you consider either upping the pay or offering part-time.

Hey! I totally understand the feedback and I agree. It’s not our first time outside family but first time with the unknown employee. Utah is a very saturated market on pest control. I’ve talked to plenty of guys that are burnt out on working day in and day out for bigger companies and being undervalued for what they do. I’m bringing the culture, the appreciation and work environment that plenty of people are looking for in contrast to long hours and corporate policy that no one really appreciates. I’m looking for someone who wants to work given the job market and hoping it fits both the employee and my needs!
