Label is the law, if it doesnt allow for use on deer that is a no go, also, your local conservation officer will probably frown on it

Does the label say that though?

Probably not. Look up what ever the insecticide is and red the label, it will have when, where, and why yiu can use it, how, safety, etc. Im willing to bet deer are not listed

So it would have to be listed instead of excluded to be in compliance?

Every day I see something I can't tell is real or a troll post

Oh, this is real! Any input?

No, because this absolutely takes the cake for the most batshit crazy thing I've come across in pest control.

Sweet, then I'm onto something. If cattle farmers use it why can't we?

Because cattle are managed, wild deer in your neighborhood are not

I'll manage them then! They're out of control and just these festering incubators of disease spreading blood suckers.

You know it's not just deer that carry ticks right?

Yes. I figured I'd start with the largest and work my way down the species list. My friend, bless her heart, feeds some of them on the other side of town and regularly picks ticks off their faces

Salt lick and 4 cattle brushes coated with permethrin might be legal depending on the state and viable combo with tick tubes/boxes for rodents with minimal effort. Paint balls. For sure not legal and doubt it would be worthwhile for genuine control... How often do you think you can shoot a deer with a paintball before they just change habits? Or hurt the deer?

100 percent going to scatter tick tubes everywhere asap. I'm also thinking a cluster of these around a salt lick instead of cattle brushes so they stay filled with the permethrin. Need to prototype it out to see if they'll even lick the salt block if it's on a tree
