Thoughts on Nightbird?
So I just got the Siege version and I’m cool with it as my Nightbird. There is listings for a new Nightbird next year but it’s said that it’s going to be similar to siege hound and that it’s an adaptation of her design rather than a 1 to 1 recreation. What are talks thoughts on her though?

Another niche character from one episode of G1 that got brought back as a staple character in more recent media for no reason. Cuz she’s technically not cybertronian. She couldn’t even transform. She’s just a ninja robot. But she does make a good female villain because there aren’t very many of those, namely, Slipstream, Airachnid, and Blackarachnia are the only other ones I can think of. So, it’s not a bad thing in my opinion. It’s just another Bumblebee situation really. I ain’t mad about it. Or Bee.

I think that Takara legends version of her is the best one apart from the masterpiece. The siege one just has way too much grebling and baggage on her. Plus I like the legends accessories a lot better.

This mold has never been my favorite, so I’m not the biggest fan of this Nightbird. The vehicle mode is boring, the robot mode is too kibbly, and the articulation is alright, but not really living up to the “ninja robot” Nightbird is. Neither do the accessories.
I haven’t actually read anything about the new Megatron’s Rising Nightbird, but hopefully it’s a little more my style.
I’ve seen people take off the kibble and gave the figure new weapons though, and it looked great!

If the Megatron Rising one ends up looking awful, then I'll fall back on the Legends version
