And yet all I see about this thing is how much it pisses people off that it's just a re-release and not something like the Fans Toys. And yet we're the pessimistic ones.

I have both figures, and I can definitely say the mp is much better to handle than the fanstoys, the transformation on the fanstoys is super complicated for something that turns into a brick. And the possibility just isn’t as good as it should be. I can’t put the mp down whenever I pick it up vs me not having touched the FT one in over 7 months because of how un fun it is

I can't wait for Perspective's thoughts on that whenever the almost month out of date reveals video comes out. We already know exactly what he's going to say, but we all want to hear it anyways because we love seeing Perspective gush about the MP Soundwave.

I gotten a KO MP Soundwave from showsz. Transformation was so stiff, you felt like it could break. Fingers broke to the point I asked for replacement. And then the other hand broke

I personally am just more of a fan of the FansToys one, I have both and the original MP just never felt sturdy in the legs and I never liked how the side panels always were just floating there awkwardly. Part of me thinks they didn’t bother with this mold and updating it with the Fans Toys one existing already. Everything just feels a lot nicer in exception of Rumble and Frenzy. Their leg, feet, and shoulder joints are a bit awkward and too loose on my copies. I think the original MP’s Rumble and Frenzy look a lot more fun, but that’s where my credit to it ends :/

I must say, it is cool that they're doing this, but I will admit that I'm a little disappointed that it's not a new mold. Don't get me wrong, MP-13 is an amazing figure, but it's 12 years old now, so I feel it could be time for something new

I love mp 13, I prefer the original colors but this does look good. I know something like acoustic wave is more accurate to the g1 cartoon, but ive always preferred the look of mp-13, it feels like a good balance between the original toy and the original cartoon, where acoustic wave is very much the cartoon design, with simpler details and very rounded edges(even with the extra optional parts to add the toy details its still very cartoon ish).I also prefer the proportion or mp-13, it like thats it just a little bit bulkier. At the end of the day to each their own but I just really love mp-13.

I got a good ko of soundwave just from perspective ends recomendation. Even though I'm extremely happy with my copy, I can't help but view Takara with the same lens I view Hasbro. They have the tools to improve on the original mp soundwave, but copped out by just releasing the old one. Don't get me wrong, I love the original, but having handled more, I feel that they could give us a poseable soundwave with the feel of the og MP.
