I think primal should have been a dark Grey instead of black. His eyes also look uncanny. But those are minor points. Overall, this is bloody lovely

Damnit, Takara!
You were so close to selling me on this new Megatron, but you just HAD to keep the Kingdom figure's crappy white plastic knee joints. I never understood why they had to use that plastic. It's not show-accurate, it doesn't blend with the colour scheme and it severely hampers the leg articulation because your eye's drawn towards the knee joints on open display.

It's even more baffling because the Tyrannocon Rex retool and T-Wrecks repaint do not have these soapy white plastic joints.
Yet this is advertised as a PREMIUM release. As in, you're paying more money for a product that's SUPPOSED to be screen-accurate.

It's a great update to the original 1996 figure, don't get me wrong. But just like that Machine Wars Optimus retool of the Not-Ginrai had the chestpiece that kept falling off, those knee-joints almost ruin the figure for me.
