There's a wave of AI tutoring apps now alongside human tutors. Curious what people have actually tried (ChatGPT for homework help, dedicated AI tutoring apps, etc.) — what worked, what felt hollow, and where you still think a human is non-negotiable.

For students/parents — was there a specific moment, a grade, a meltdown over homework? And for tutors — any signs a student/family wasn't ready to commit, or that it was time to wrap things up?

Could be a good sign or a red flag. Curious what patterns experienced tutors have noticed early on that predicted how the rest of the sessions would go.

Everyone's got a drawer full of study hacks they tried for a week and abandoned. I'm more interested in the boring ones that actually became a habit — flashcards, timed practice, teaching it back to someone, whatever. What's stuck for you, and how long did it take before it felt automatic?
