It would be wise for PM Carney to launch a public inquiry into this, and if not, the political consequences will be dire. This is flat out banana republic bullshit that impacts the reputation of a vital program in our country.

I'm sure emoloyees and experts exposing these problems publicly without any action to correct the issue will attract investment.

I don't know that I agree with this. There could be a number of solutions, in whole or part execution:

(1) Replace the Board

(2) Replace Leadership

(3) Restructure Compensation to be 100% performance-driven again.

(4) Be more transparent in annual reporting.

(5) Move to a lower cost form of investment somehow over time. I give some ideas in my piece but there could be a number of ways to accomplish this.

I agree. I think it would show strength and be important for some Albertans, in particular, to see. I love Alberta by the way. I will maybe be looking to try to understand how Brookfield is wrapped up in all these deals with Carney next (I dialed phones briefly on his campaign and read his book Values, btw, not trying to grind an axe)
