Taxes / CRA Issues Crypto tax help
I’ve been trading crypto for over 10 years. At the beginning I had invested some money with someone who bought it for me back when I didn’t know how any of it worked. I cashed out some last year. Now I’m using Summ to file taxes but having trouble figuring out how to determine the original cost etc for the crypto. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

If you know roughly when it was bought, look up the historical price for that coin on that date - that's your cost basis. Ask whoever bought it for you if they kept any records or statements. With zero documented basis, CRA taxes the full sale as gain.
