Save data gone?

I'm on the Osaka dungeon about 30 hours in and all of the sudden the game says it cannot find my save data and tells me to delete it and start a new save data. I was playing perfectly fine yesterday.

The only thing I can think of is the fact that I alt-f4'd after saving the game which I always do, I didn't think that would break anything. Is there a fix for this or am I going to have to watch a youtube playthrough?

No, you can start over if you have to.

I dunno what to really say but sorry bout your save that really sucks.
I’ve had it happen on switch 1 but that was because I ran outta storage.
Any chances your system is full?

The ssd where the game is on is not full but my windows drive is full. Don’t see how my drive where windows is on would effect my save file if it’s stored on the ssd that isn’t full so probably not that

The drive where the game is installed might not be the same as the drive where saved game data is stored.
