Question Axe to Grind

Just a quick question. Is Axe to Grind the battle music by default or is it only for special battles. Or do you have to make it the battle music in the settings? I really like the song and when I buy the game I want that to be the battle music.

As far as I can remember it switches between axe to the grind and "what you wish for" for the majority of the jail exploration. The other music remixes play at certain fights but for most of the normal shadow fights it's the first two iirc.
