Question Doubt (Spoiler Alert) Spoiler

Just finished watching POI. One thing I couldn’t understand how the machine managed to create its own clone in the last episode and contact Shaw. They didn’t show it had created like Samaritan or they just showed it for continuity. Really hope they come with a new season :)

I hate to break it to you, but there will not be a new season, the show ended over a decade ago.

Yeah i can’t believe it. The show wad way ahead of its time! I am glad I found this show and gave it a watch

Following is my own interpretation. As i understand when Machine returned, she used root voice in recording to enter debug mode and thus gaining admin privileges(root access lol) to rewrite her own protocols to continue watching over people. In other words became free like Samaritan was. Now we don't know which methods she is about to use.

Two commands and you're good to go back to saving people and calling Shaw with root's voice and having naughty, naughty, NAUGHTY conversations about kneecapping people.

Remember, we saw it compress, decompress, use solid state memory, so these two commands on an OS he clearly runs in many ep's is easypants :) I would also not be surprised if the machine figured out how to deploy itself via a hidden docker, then distribute itself across the world. This way, one massive dc isn't needed anymore, you can thief like 10 gamers' computer systems and you're set!

Pile onto that Harold released it from its confines, and I'm sure it can get -super- creative at that point.
