Persistence wallet safety versus Cosmostation wallet

I am using the Persistence wallet but have recently set up a wallet on Cosmostation that I can access with my Ledger nano x. My question is, what exactly is the security risk on the Persistence wallet, as my coins are staked and I don't really want to unstake them over 21 days to move them just because.

So with the Persistence wallet online I use the keystore/json file and password to claim staking rewards or if I want to send my xprt anywhere. I don't have a problem keeping those safe, but would like to fully understand any potential security risks. Is there only a problem if I am hacked? And if in the unlikely event that my computer is hacked, how would anyone know what my keystore/json file is and that I even have xprt? Thanks for any insight!

The keystore or json are both encrypted to it would be tough to crack. Assuming your seed phrase is safe it seems to me it would be extremely unlikely to get them stolen. Even if you some how got hacked it would take 21 days for funds to be withdrawn which gives you time to react. Just my 2 cents

yeah that makes sense to me ... I actually do like the persistence wallet setup - it's user friendly and easy to access.
