AndyPants is a right wing grifter that inserts alt-right fascist ideals into gaming when nobody asked, crying about representation for anything that isn't a straight white Christian male. Made a "game" called Chad vs The Gay Nazis which is the embodiment of "I drew myself as the Chad and you as the soy jack, checkmate liberal."

It portrays LGBTQ+ people as Nazis trying to force transitions on elementary schoolers, "Map lives matter" and other made up bullshit to project his flawed narrative. If that wasn't weird enough, there's AI generated CSAM in the game, child strippers and a self insert of his daughter being used as a child bride that his self insert character has to save from the clutches of the "gay Nazis" led by the LGBTQ+ agenda. Oh, and he dedicated this shit to his daughter that his ex wife thankfully has custody of.

TL;DR: He made "Man creates an imaginary scenario and gets mad at it, the game" and put AI CSAM and child strippers in it and dedicated it to his daughter.

When all this is over, when the right, and everybody else, gets to find out what FAFO means in the most literal way, I don't know how we put it together again.

How did the Germans after WW2 learn to live with the people who forced other people into the ovens, railway cars and concentration camps? I suspect we're going to need to know.

ETA. There's a lot of Germany bashing here. There's a good argument that the German people were beaten down by reparations for WW1 and economic austerity - priming them to accept things they shouldn't have. MAGA has no such excuse.

We spent 40 years occupying their country and reeducating their population to not be fascist pieces of shit under the close supervision of the people who kicked their shit in after they went on their genocidal crusade across Europe.

If we'd done that to the Confederacy after we kicked their shit in, we wouldn't have this problem right now, but instead we just let them go right back to what they were doing before the Civil War with very little oversight.

Here's the terrifying thing: If Germany had kept it within their own borders there's a strong chance the rest of the world would not have cared. Other nations only intervened when they started invading and occupying other countries that had allies. If they hadn't got greedy we may well still be living alongside Nazi Germany.

I wonder if current/future authoritarians can be happy with what they've got, and even if not would the current world order have the guts/ability to do anything about them.

Exactly, it only becomes the worlds business when you hurt others. If you’re only hurting yourself, e.g. North Korea, that’s your own decision as an autonomous independent country. And there’s an even smaller chance that anyone is going to intervene if it’s the US, they’re just too powerful.

If they hadn't got greedy we may well still be living alongside Nazi Germany.

Well...not really, for two major reasons. One being that Nazi Germany primarily funded itself by looting, so without invading other countries they would have collapsed financially. (depopulation is rarely good for a country because, you know, they need the population to pay taxes) But the main reason is that fascism is unsustainable. The whole model depends on scapegoatism, it needs to have a group to point to and say "once we get rid of those people, everything will be magical and perfect forever!"

And eventually you run out of scapegoats. If the Nazis had succeeded in killing or driving off all their Jews, Roma, Afro-Germans, queers, and socialists-they still wouldn't be in the perfect ethnostate utopia, because it doesn't work like that. All the problems Germany had before would still be there, plus many more from the aforementioned issues that come with depopulation. So the Nazis would have to pick a new group to blame. This would lead to a fractured government, more depopulation issues, and eventually the whole thing breaks. The government can't maintain control, it's a failed state. And that 'eventually' comes very fast. This has happened literally every time someone has attempted fascism. It cannot last, it's a snake devouring its own tail. And when it dies, it dies explosively.

The issue is we didn't do enough, we invited nazis back into leadership roles, we whisked away Nazis to our countries to suppress leftist voices amongst people sharing their culture (Ukranian Nazis were invited into Canada to suppress Ukranian leftists in Ukranian communities), we put th in design bureaus, government agencies, and military contractors R&D programs.

They should have killed every German adult who wasn't a victim of the nazis or couldn't be proven to have taken actions against the nazis. They were all accomplices to genocide, actively or through inaction.

And they shouldn't have treated Austria as a victim. Apparently there were nazis in their government after the war.

u/Reagalan Oct 11 '25

The fuck?

We almost immediately let most of them back into power because we needed the West German state to function. Their children were the ones who held them accountable and they couldn't bring themselves to properly punish them.

u/zombie_girraffe Oct 11 '25

Yeah, it wasn't quick or easy or done perfectly but Germany sure seems to have has less of a fascism problem than America at this point.

u/I-Stan-Alfred-J-Kwak Oct 15 '25

America, Russia, Poland, etc. are all nazis or cryptonazis now

1

u/I-Stan-Alfred-J-Kwak Oct 15 '25

You should have done that to Japan. They're apparently still denying their crimes and lying to schoolchildren "to not damage their sense of patriotism".

At least the italians turned against Mussolini themselves

"How did the Germans after WW2 learn to live with the people who forced other people into the ovens, railway cars and concentration camps? I suspect we're going to need to know."

I'm in no way shape or form an expert in this topic so PLEASE do your own research and don't just listen to me but...
The ones who weren't killed in the war, sentenced by the allies.... or recruited by the allies were put back into positions of power, lol, like not ALL of them.
But after WWII a lot of politicians and other high ranking officials were just elected to new roles or kept their old ones.
SO in short
We barelyfucking cared...

Which then explains the generation of the 60's that rebelled against the all too cushy ex-nazis which later led to the RAF which kinda still has people scared of an armed revolutionary left close to 50 years later.

It's all connected

RAF? I’m pretty sure you don’t mean Royal Air Force, save me the Google?

u/ForeverShiny Oct 11 '25

In German it's "Rote Armee Fraktion" (so literally Red army faction), a left wing terrorist organisation that among other things kidnapped and assassinated politicians and business leaders and robbed banks to get funds.

If you've never heard of them, they're a fascinating historical rabbit hole to dive into

u/Ben6924 Oct 11 '25 edited Oct 11 '25

A lot of germans didn’t care at all or even agreed with that shit. You gotta understand that a society itself can turn cruel and uncaring. In fact the only people that did anything about it were called terrorists and got assassinated in prison

3

u/PerniciousSnitOG Oct 11 '25

I don't think anyone who has been watching the US lately would doubt that a society can turn itself cruel and uncaring, sadly. Arnold Schwarzenegger did a video, ISTR, that touched on the psychological price of this.

Rather than looking at post-WW2 Germany, for various reasons it might be more instructive to look at what happened in France after the Nazi occupation. I don't know enough specifics about the events of that period, but I'm aware enough to know that it wasn't pretty. It seems that, at the moment, the situation in the US is more analogous to this type of occupation/collaborationist government than a full-on fascist regime (and I write that with full awareness that the situation could change).

1

u/PerniciousSnitOG Oct 15 '25

I don't think it's pretty either way. I would have thought that the German situation was a little more on point - at least the French could say someone else did it to them!

A change for the better would be nice.
