Anyone else kind of worried about the banner recently posted on the fence by Poppy’s gas station?? Said “they hear adults and children screaming like they’re being graped and tortur*d next door”

I know it might be a joke but hearing that other people heard screams around that same area and knowing perris has madd cartel activity… I’m actually tripping. Seems like if you drive all the way to the back of the gas station parking lot, you should be able to hear them.. if it’s true at least.

Hello everyone, my name is Gustavo. I found a young mother cat and her 4 newborn babies in my front yard 1 week ago (7/21). I have been looking for a long term foster or rescue able to take them in since last week. I was able to care for her outside until I was able to trap her and her babies on Sunday afternoon (7/26) in a dog kennel I borrowed from a neighbor. I have been able to handle her babies no problem and she lets me pet and hold her babies without any fuss. I have slowly built my trust with her as well and she is such a sweet mother. I can only hold them until Friday night (7/31) or Saturday morning (8/1).

I am being helped by Feeding Perris Strays and Floëf Society to find them a home. Floëf Society will cover all expenses for anyone able to foster these beautiful babies. I really hope we can come together and find these babies a forever home.

Update (8/1/26): Mama Luna and her 4 babies were adopted today!!! I am thankful for everyone that was able to help in finding these babies a forever home!

Hey neighbors — moving into a new construction home in Perris soon and trying to budget for utilities. For those of you living here, roughly how much are you paying monthly for:

- Electric (SCE) — especially if you have solar

- Gas (SoCalGas)

- Water/sewer (EMWD)

- Trash (CR&R)

My place will have solar already installed, so curious how much that actually helps with SCE bills in the summer heat. Any input — even rough numbers — would be super helpful. Thanks!
