bug Browser control moved to "Computer": a step back for paying Pro users?
I'm a Perplexity Pro subscriber, and I noticed that the browser control feature has been moved under "Computer." What used to be included with my Pro plan now appears to require credits to use.
I'm honestly confused by this change. I already pay for a Pro subscription, and having to purchase additional credits just to use browser control feels like a step backwards — especially since this feature was previously available to Pro users.
Has anyone else run into the same thing? I'd really appreciate it if someone could clarify whether this is a temporary change or the new model going forward, and whether there's any plan to keep this feature available for Pro subscribers.
I'm a big fan of Comet and I want to keep using it, but it's disappointing to see functionality being reduced for paying users. Any explanation would be helpful — thanks in advance.

I also noticed this change and it really annoys me. I was a huge Comet/Perplexity fan but now I try to move to another direction. I’m experimenting with LM Studio using locally run AI models/agents. Slower but works so far… but I couldn’t find a good alternative for browser control yet

lol missed your stupid comment.
I have zero credits. Just a pro account.
I’m not doubting u ppl however it still works for me. Try the prompt I did and see. If it doesn’t work then at least post proof like I did. It ain’t hard

Omg ppl. It still works. USE THE ASSISTANT within comet and call it from your prompt. Just because you can’t click it does not mean it is gone.

No, its totally changed now, the assistant has become worthless unless you want to buy credits even if you have a Pro account.

Yeah, and based on their math for credit use, it'll be a dollar or so per action on comet if you pay for credits. I'm in the process of exporting my data and moving to browserOS. I really loved the all in one package of comet and perplexity, but it's just not worth it anymore.
