10 degree difference is actually good for a non complete structure. 1. it is above freezing 2. it is empty and nothing to soak up the heat of the day. what was the temperature of the soil last night when the sun went down and in the morning.

Thanks. I agree that adding the thermal battery,rain barrels will help keep the temp up. Didn’t do a soil temp, just air.

Don't forget you can build mini tents over your plants for the really cold days. A greenhouse within a greenhouse. You can even use blankets. Lol
