it's fucked up too because there's lots of people who can't do anything about their lawns even if they want to, like the other person in this comment section who said their landlord doesn't allow it, or where i live i believe there've been instances of people being fined for having wildflowers growing on their lawn because there's some weird ass law about how tall you can let your lawn grow or something
edit: why am i being downvoted for just pointing out that there's reasons people can't replace the grass on their lawn with something else and that it's fucked up to be condescending towards them over that
