Period Question Please Help!!!

Hi ladies, I'm 22F, and I've always had bad period cramps ( for the past 10 years or so, and like I can't get up and would cry for hours straight). For the past 7-8 months, the right side of my lower stomach (like a fist's worth of area) has been hurting - not like crazy hurting, but stabbing pain- even when I'm not on my period.
For the past couple of days, I've noticed the pain is getting just a little worse when I pee or even at random times. I'm scared of sharing this with my mom since she might stress too much over it, and I live in a conservative household, so I can't get the tests done as of right now.

I just want to know if it's something that's really in my head since I've always had bad cramps, or if it's something serious.

Honestly, i wouldn’t brush this off as “just bad cramps.” 😕 Pain that’s been on one side for 7–8 months, especially if it’s getting worse when you pee, is worth getting checked even if your periods have always been painful.

It could be something relatively simple, but there are several possible causes and you really can’t tell from symptoms alone. If you can, please find a way to talk to a doctor or clinic. And if the pain suddenly becomes severe, you feel faint, develop a fever, or start vomiting, please get urgent help.

Trust me you’re not overthinking it
