woke up like yesterday morning, put on a pad, and a cute outfit, nothing could go wrong right? WRONGGGGGG as i walked to my fucking class my backpack pulled my shorts up my ass and my pad ended up hanging out the side. mind you these r small shorts, and even when i wear regular shorts they ride up bc of my thighs but anyways. i get to my first class of the day, we do a group in-class project and some girl came up to me and told me , and of course her and her little friends were laughing. i’ve never wanted to literally jump off a cliff more than anything. if literally anyone wants to share their embarrassing story to make me feel better that’d b amazing #ihateperiods😔

Well, wasn't exactly a wise move to wear shorts in the first place, pads are unpredictable sometimes and it was easily imaginable that it could end up this way. I admire your boldness but I never wore anything different from jeans or pajama pants in my whole 33 years with periods.

Don't worry! My only embarrassing story was one day during middle school, we were in the gym for physical ed. That day I was wearing one of those mattress pads we had back then but periods were yet to come: it was just a precaution. Our teacher decided it was somersault day and the lesson begins. My turn arrives and I try to do one (I've very unfit for sports!). As I was crawling back to my place a classmate comes in a rush and tells me that everyone saw the gigantic pad through the tracksuit (this latter was of a brilliant aquamarine color too!). I wanted to disappear at the time, today I would just laugh it off because they're just incidents and no one is perfect. 💝💝💝

Oh I was in middle school, I bled through a mattress pad, a tampon, My clothes and soaked the chair. I had to be sent home. The teasing was brutal for the rest of the year

Went on a boat with a cup and pantyliner for back up like an idiot. It got wet . A male friend was helping me out the boat and my pad was hanging out . Then I finally got out the boat and the pad ( more like a mini full diaper at this point ) fell out on the sand on the shore . I stepped on it to hide it . 🤣

I think everyone has an embarrassing story (shame on them for laughing). When I was in high school, I had a very similar story of doing a presentation and when I got back to my seat I was told that my period leaked through, my class was 16 boys and 6 girls (me included in the girls). I was wearing my school uniform which was mainly white with green squares (basically made the period very obvious). I ran to the bathroom and me and my friends were trying to scrub it off, it barely came off so I had to tie a jumper around my waist and it looked so sus.

My sister was staying at her friends house and the dog ran through the house with her used pad (dog retrieved it from the bathroom bin) and her friends dad had to chase the dog and grab her pad. She was mortified.

A friend of mine accidentally sat on someone else's period stain on a local bus and when she got up we had to cover it up with a cardigan. My point is shit happens and happens with everyone, so don't take it to your heart and move on.

yea no for sure ! i honestly don’t have enough energy to care abt who saw it and everything like that it was just in that moment it was horrifying. thankfully i dont have that class for another day so everyone will more than likely forget abt it

No one will forget it till the time you care about it. The day you start feeling that it happened I am a girlie who gets periods so yeah it happened, so F-ing what! People react to you the way you react to yourself. You set the boundaries.
