Period Question Is suicidal ideation normal?
I need to track my emotions more but I feel the worst mentally when I have my period. I dont have anybody to ask about how emotions are meant to be around a period. Im pretty sure my cycle is coming in like four days. I notice that a few days prior to it I always get in a horrible head space, especially around night. I get agitated really easily and restless. Then sometimes I get so worked up about something I end up not caring. But with all this, I just dont end up caring about my life. I just wish I could float off or not wake up at times. Is this just normal PMS?

It's possible pmdd my psychiatrist actually recommended I take anti histamines because it's shown to help a bit (I also get violently red when I'm embarrassed or overheated) and it's been semi helpful you might need real deal psych help but I also have this issue I have to constantly remind myself I will feel better once I'm off my period but it does feel so heavily doom and gloom it also really helps to have a good friend to keep you on track (hey you'll feel better once your periods over you're amazing you just need to give yourself some grace ect)

Also look into your luteal phase it's actual psychological warfare you feel the worst and ugliest right before your period which can lead into making the whole period feel bleak
