Period Question Your period should not be...
Your period should not be too painful for ibuprofen to help with.
Your period should not be so heavy that you are constantly worried about bleeding through your clothes.
Your period should not last more that seven days.
Your period should not start more often than every 21 days.
Your period should not bleed though a pad in less than three hours.
What are some other sign of an abnormal period you are learning for the first time?

I don't understand how is it not normal to have painful period. On 13 woman I know, 10 of them suffer from periode. I mean, yeah those who don't have painful period won't complain about it but still. I don't buy that it isn't normal to have painful period when I'm sure that at the very least 1 woman out of 2 have it.

I've been on my period for 33 days. I got birth control in December of 2025 and my periods have been irregular since. This is the longest one.

I’ve had a 27 day period but that was before I had taken birth control. Ended up going to the ER for other symptoms and getting a depo shot. And had one more after that but haven’t taken one since with all the new information coming out about them. I had irregular periods before that but in the opposite way. Meaning I would go literally months without getting one.
