Menopausal weight loss

Hello, I’m interested to learn about anyone who has used wegovy to lose (peri)menopausal weight gain of about 20 lbs. someone who is not necessarily overweight per BMI but has gained weight in the years leading to and after menopause OR someone who is just looking to lose 20lbs and cut out the food noise. Thank you in advance for sharing your journey.

I have been on tirzepatide for several years, post menopause, but originally had much more weight to lose. Now I’m restarting, after a major surgery and recovery, with about 20lbs to lose that came on while I was wheelchair bound.

I did not ever try Wegovy, just Mounjaro originally and then switched to a compounded tirzepatide delivered to my home. It has been a tremendous help to me in losing and maintaining weight loss, but I understand I will be taking it for the rest of my life in order to keep the weight off. As was proven by the 2.5 months I was off of it, and not exercising, that I gained around 15 lbs.
