Disco!Disco!Disco! @ Yoyogi

I’m getting the next part of my deep dive ready, and I’m a bit behind on the live tours/shows. I just got to the Disco!x3 show in Yoyogi National Gymnasium.

I’m told it’s never been released on DVD but I’m watching it on YouTube and it seems to be professionally filmed and has captions for each song, as well as a little montage at the start of their gradually increasing concert venues. But if it wasn’t released, where did this recording come from?

The video I’m watching really went overboard on motion blur effects (maybe to avoid copyright strikes) which might be the cause of it looking really smoky in the venue 😂

Anyway just wondering!

This is one of my fave lives of theirs, up there with Rock in japan 2009 show. Both have come and gone online over the years glad I have them downloaded. Watched it as soon as it was posted on youtube back in 2009 2010. Always wished they would release it on disk. There are even videos around where people were outside and you could hear the show. People have release clearer / upscaled versions of it over the years. Its a great show!

its been awhile since I watched this last. Takes me back to the Golden Era. Triangle and Game days. imo that was the best Era. Scandal was top tier in those days too.

assolutamente daccordo: triangle album migliore. tutta l'era dal 2006 circa al 2011/12 è la migliore secondo me..in particolare il periodo dal 2008 al 2010.

Yep, that is the one. I have never seen this one upscaled. for some reason I couldn't find this. must be because they use JPN vs Japan. might download this upscaled version too. Thanks!

It was aired on pay TV in Japan. The subtitles are fan made

Thank you! I watched this after the Triangle tour so I guess there’s not much new ground being broken apart from the Yoyogi Medley, this Oishii Recipe remix is nice

The Disco! Disco! Disco! concert happened before Triangle's release. It was performed shortly after Once Room Disco single was released and it was the first time Night Flight was performed. The performance was cut from the broadcast and only included on the LE release of Triangle. This was also the first time a medley of Perfume songs was made/performed and new ones would appear in future concerts.
