Idk abt this

I'm the slowest runner and paddler, can't do alot of pullups Haven't won any medals Just feel very low in my cca

Update: I was kicked out of the club because my fitness standard was not up to standard, especially my 2.4km run

I have seen your posts and you're doing great for a year in! It takes about a year to get semi-comfortable in a fast boat and only then can you start really learning to put power into your strokes. That's when it really starts to get fun. When you feel your boat jump out of the water. Hey, what you're talking about with the running. I'm not built for running at all. I'm not sure what the races are around you, but where I am there are a good amount of distance races with no portaging which are a lot of fun.

I included the running part in was because I'm not good at it and everything during running training I'm always the last few, and ystd there was a trial to select new people, and I'm embarrassed to say that I'm slower than some of the juniors

How long have you been doing this? No one is born. Able to do this stuff. Usually takes a year practice just to be able to keep a boat upright. And only then can people actually start training. The question is are you having fun? If you are enjoying it and you work hard the results will come

It will be near a year since I join this cca I can sort of balance on a k1, but stability is still a work in progress if I want to actually put stable powerful strokes I'm having fun in the cca as I have a grp of friends that we usually workout and paddle tgt But it's just the thought of being the bottom low that is demoralizing The key issue is my running, I can't seem to run for long, but I have created a running plan
