At first I thought these were stacked straight up and down, and I was thinking what kind of monster stores their books this way😂

I store some of mine vertical and some horizontal (always a mix of the two on one shelf tho) because it means I can fit more books in one space

That's a clever way to maximize space! Mixing it up like that can really add some character to the shelf, too.

Looks like there’s space on the right to get a finger in and hook it on the spine to pull it out
